Meet Chad Mentzer
As State Director for Iowa, Chad Mentzer leads Johnson Brothers Collective operations across the state, bringing more than 15 years of beverage alcohol industry experience. Since joining Johnson Brothers in 2013, Chad has held leadership roles of increasing responsibility, including Iowa Chain Manager, Director of National Accounts, and his current position as State Director. Prior to Johnson Brothers, he began his career as a merchandiser with Glazer’s Distributing while attending Iowa State University, later managing a sales territory in southern Iowa and serving as a Sales Consultant with Luxco Spirited Brands. Based in Iowa, Chad leads with a focus on supplier partnerships, customer success, and sustainable growth. He holds a bachelor’s degree in sports management from Iowa State University and has earned his WSET Level 2 certification in Wines.
