Meet Whitley Benson
As State Director for North Carolina, Whitley Benson leads Johnson Brothers Collective operations across the state, bringing more than 18 years of beverage alcohol industry experience. Since joining Johnson Brothers in 2024, Whitley has played a key leadership role in the North Carolina market, including serving as District Manager for the Spirits Division. Prior to joining Johnson Brothers, his tenure in the spirits industry included a variety of roles, including Business Analyst, Sales Consultant, Trade Development Manager, and State Manager, developing extensive expertise in sales leadership, supplier partnerships, and market development. Based in North Carolina, Whitley leads with a focus on customer service, team development, and long-term growth. He holds a degree in communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
