Executive Leadership Changes Announced at Johnson Brothers

St. Paul, Minn. – January 17, 2022 – Johnson Brothers has announced an executive leadership appointment and changes to the current executive team to reflect their growth and further position the company for continued success.

Effective March 1, George Marsden, currently Vice President of Sales, Northern Area for the E&J Gallo Winery, will be joining Johnson Brothers as Chief Commercial Officer. In this new position, George will oversee the entire commercial organization for Johnson Brothers including the sales, national accounts, sales strategy, category development and e-commerce teams. George will sit on the Johnson Brothers Executive Team and report directly to Mark Hubler and the Johnson family.

With George’s appointment, Doug McIntosh, currently Executive Vice President & Chief Sales Officer, will be moving into a new executive leadership and advisory role supporting several key initiatives across Johnson Brothers. Doug will work alongside George this spring to ensure a smooth and successful transition.

Along with these changes, Mark Hubler’s role will be expanded to President & Chief Executive Officer, continuing to report directly to co-owners Michael and Todd Johnson. With this expansion of his role, Mark will focus on strategic initiatives, business development and growing supplier relationships – all aimed at positioning Johnson Brothers for future growth.

Finally, with George joining as Chief Commercial Officer, Victoria Snyder, currently Executive Vice President of Operations & Chief Strategy Officer, will expand her role to Chief Operating Officer & Chief Strategy Officer, continuing to report to Mark Hubler.
